Suvarnabhumi Airport is set to offer early check-in services, allowing passengers to check in up to 24 hours before their flight. This move aims to ease congestion and enhance passenger convenience. The service is expected to begin in February.

In addition, a children’s playground is scheduled for installation by February, and the airport will expand non-commercial spaces by the end of next year.

These initiatives are part of a broader effort to boost Suvarnabhumi’s ranking among the top 20 airports globally within five years. Currently ranked 58th by Skytrax, Suvarnabhumi aims to surpass its regional competitors, including Singapore’s Changi Airport and Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

The airport is set to increase its capacity to 150 million passengers annually within the next five years. This expansion will involve upgrading the existing terminal and constructing a new one, with the airport currently serving nearly 60 million passengers per year.
