This achievement was celebrated at the Asia-Pacific Higher Education Summit, hosted by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) at Macau University of Science and Technology on November 6, 2024.
The university has maintained its top-tier position in Asia for three consecutive years, showcasing its commitment to academic excellence and innovation.
The latest rankings included 984 universities from 25 countries and regions, an increase of 127 institutions from the previous year.
Among the top 150 universities in Asia, five Thai institutions were recognized: Chulalongkorn University, Mahidol University, Chiang Mai University, Thammasat University, and Krirk University.
QS, a trusted global authority on higher education rankings, evaluates universities on over 10 criteria, including academic reputation and teaching quality.
Krirk University stands out as the only private Thai institution in the top 150, competing against over 8,000 universities across Asia. It also holds a unique position as one of two Thai universities awarded a QS 5-Star rating, alongside the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT).
