Porsche Thailand hosts exclusive media preview ahead of the return of the Porsche World Roadshow in Pathum Thani.
Porsche’s World Roadshow (PWRS) is back in Thailand at Pathum Thani Speedway after a two-year break. The event, which started on November 15, 2024, allowed media to experience Porsche’s latest models. From November 16 to 25, customers and fans can also take part in driving experiences with the newest vehicles from the luxury car brand.
Participants will be guided by expert instructors from both Thailand and Europe. They can expect to take part in activities such as Handling, Braking & Moose Test evasive driving, Slalom, and Road Tours. The event is open to anyone over 21 with a valid driving license.
A fleet of 26 Porsche sports cars will be available for attendees, including the 718 Cayman GT4 RS and 911 Turbo S Cabriolet. The event will also showcase the powerful Taycan Turbo GT, producing 1,034 PS and featuring a 120 kW ‘Attack Mode’ for extra power.
Winthorn Bunnag, Acting Managing Director of Porsche Thailand, commented on the event as a chance to showcase Porsche’s dynamic potential. The Porsche World Roadshow offers a unique opportunity to drive Porsche’s high-performance vehicles and experience the brand’s passion for innovation.
A highlight at the event will be the new 911 Carrera, making its Southeast Asian debut at PWRS Thailand. The updated 911 Carrera boasts a 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine producing 394 PS, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds.
For the first time in Thailand, participants will also get to drive the new Taycan and all-electric Macan. The Taycan Turbo GT, with 1,034 PS, is Porsche’s most powerful series-production car. The Macan is Porsche’s first all-electric SUV, offering impressive performance and practicality with up to 639 PS in the Turbo model.
Tickets for the event range from THB 25,000 to THB 30,000, depending on the day. The price includes driving programs and meals throughout the day. Registration is open at all Porsche Centers and Studios in Thailand.
