Celebrating top Cambridge awards and an innovative STEAM-B curriculum shaping future-ready students.

Anglo Singapore International School has received prestigious recognition at the 2024 Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards. One of its students, Mr. Nonthapat Upariputtanggoon, earned the esteemed “Best Across Three” award for top A Level scores. Now studying Engineering at the University of Cambridge, UK, he was named the highest-performing A Level student by Cambridge International Education.

The school also celebrated seven other outstanding achievements:

• Top in the World for A Level Mathematics
• Top in the World for A Level Physics
• Top in the World for IGCSE Foreign Language Mandarin Chinese
• Top in Thailand for A Level Biology
• High Achievement in A Level Psychology
• High Achievement in AS Level Further Mathematics

Though relatively young among Thailand’s international schools, Anglo has consistently earned recognition for academic excellence, with its students achieving top Cambridge awards over the past decade.

Recently, the school expanded its focus from STEM education to the STEAM-B framework, which integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, and Business. This curriculum equips students with analytical and creative skills for modern careers.

Anglo also launched the Anglo Pathway Programme, which offers personalized mentorship with a 1:10 mentor-student ratio. The programme includes pathways in Medicine and Life Sciences, Engineering and Sciences, Behavioural Sciences and Commerce, Art & Design, and Computer Science, ensuring tailored guidance for diverse student aspirations.

Anglo’s curriculum reflects its students’ ambitions: 33% are pursuing Medicine, 33% Behavioral Sciences and Commerce, 19% Engineering and Sciences, 10% Computer Science, and 5% Art & Design.

To enhance learning further, the school unveiled its new 6-storey Building H. This facility includes advanced science labs, a gymnasium with courts for basketball, volleyball, and badminton, and redesigned spaces for study and relaxation. Innovative “Learning Studios” replace traditional classrooms, promoting interactive and collaborative learning.

Anglo’s education philosophy emphasizes pedagogy, physical space, and High-Quality Learning (HQL). Classrooms foster engagement and personalized learning, with lesson plans structured for practice, application, and reflection to build deeper understanding.
