MedPark Hospital Wins Prime Minister’s Export Award for Health & Wellness Services
MedPark recognised for outstanding healthcare services with the Prime Minister’s Export Award 2024.
MedPark Hospital wrapped up the year with a major achievement, earning the Prime Minister’s Export Award 2024 (PM’s Export Award). Dr. Pongpat Pathanavanich, Managing Director, accepted the Best Service Enterprise Award in Health & Wellness during a ceremony led by Mr. Pichai Naripthaphan, Minister of Commerce, at Santi Maitri Building, Government House in Bangkok.
This award highlights MedPark Hospital’s role as a provider of high-quality healthcare. Over four years, it has expanded its international patient reach, attracting people from Western countries, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, China, and Africa. The hospital’s expertise in treating complex conditions has earned patient trust while supporting Thailand’s economy through steady revenue growth.
Dr. Pongpat praised the teamwork of MedPark’s management, medical professionals, and staff. He said the award reflects their shared efforts to advance healthcare services and strengthen Thailand’s position as a global medical hub.
About the Prime Minister’s Export Award
Organised by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) under the Ministry of Commerce, the PM’s Export Award has recognised Thai businesses since 1982. The 2024 event, themed “Forward and Beyond – The Power of Perfection,” marked its 32nd year, focusing on sustainability and market competitiveness.
A total of 150 companies applied, with 41 awards distributed across seven categories. The winners, representing 39 businesses from 25 provinces, collectively contributed over THB 43 billion in exports this year. These awards promote Thai goods and services, enhancing trust worldwide.
