Highgate International School Thailand has announced Ben Keeling as the new Founding Head. With nearly 20 years of experience, including eight years as Principal of Shrewsbury International School Hong Kong, Keeling brings a wealth of leadership and a focus on creating a supportive, high-achieving school culture.

The school, a partnership between Highgate School UK and Siam Motors Group (SMG), is set to open in August 2026. Initially, it will offer Pre-Prep and Junior School programs, with Senior School and boarding facilities to follow in 2027. The curriculum will follow the English National Curriculum, culminating in IGCSEs and A Levels.

Keeling expressed his excitement about leading the school’s foundation and working with local families to create a dynamic, ambitious learning environment. Adam Pettitt, Head of Highgate School UK, praised Keeling’s leadership and looked forward to collaborating on the project.

Tanyaporn Phornprapha Tangkaravakoon, Chair of the School Board, also welcomed Keeling, noting his experience in fostering inclusive communities and academic excellence.

Located in Chonburi Province, near Siam Country Club, the campus will feature state-of-the-art facilities, including an Olympic-sized swimming pool, FIFA-standard football pitch, Golf Academy, and spaces for STEM, Music, and the Arts.
