Chiang Rai’s skies will transform into a colorful spectacle as the Singha Park Chiang Rai International Balloon Fiesta 2025 takes place from 13-17 February. This annual event, recognized as the largest balloon festival in ASEAN, will feature over 30 hot air balloons from 13 countries.
A highlight of the festival is the “Love Balloon” activity, where 15 couples will experience a romantic flight over Chiang Rai’s scenic landscape. Competitive balloon pilots will also take part in an international contest, with a prize pool exceeding 100,000 baht. Visitors can enjoy light-and-sound balloon displays and cultural performances, including a Khon show based on the Ramayana, featuring 160 performers from Wang Na and Chiang Rai.
Music lovers can look forward to live performances from well-known Thai artists, including BODYSLAM, MILLI, THE TOYS, and PARADOX.
This year introduces Chiang Rai Brewtopia, a haven for coffee lovers offering specialty brews in the cool February weather. Families can explore kids’ activities, local food stalls, and creative workshops. Adventure seekers can visit Singha Park’s flower fields, tea plantations, and outdoor attractions like ATV rides and zip-lining.
Tickets are available online through Singha Park Chiang Rai’s Eventpass and at designated offline locations. Early Bird discounts are open until 9 February 2025.
